Social Worker – Social Services Department (Full-Time)
Incumbent will be responsible for assessing assigned clients; developing and implementing Initial Service Plans & Discharge Plans with appropriate goals and interventions; monitoring progress and needs of clients by maintaining accurate records for all assigned clients. Incumbent must have strong clinical skills, including that of assessment, interviewing research and intervention. Also serves as an advocate for clients & acts as a liaison with family members and referring agencies. Evening work will be required.
Requirements: Masters in Social Work and licensed in MD (LGSW, LCSW) with at least two (2) years of experience working with adult women, young children, adolescents and pregnant/parenting teenage girls.
Resident Manager (Full-Time)
Supports and encourages residents in their compliance with the Teen Mother Program as outlined in the Program Handbook. Provides support for the clients emotionally and medically. Coordinates the team effort of providing quality care. Maintains supervisory responsibility for staff, residents, and the program as assigned. Coordinates all housekeeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe working/living environment. Monitors and collects data for use in quality improvement and reports to funders.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in related field is preferred. Associate degree in Behavior Science or related area and at least five years supervisory experience and work with adolescents in a residential setting.
Assistant Resident Manager (Full-Time)
Supports and encourages residents in their compliance with the Teen Mother Program as outlined in the Program Handbook; Supports residents medical and emotional needs; Assists in coordination of a team effort for the provision of quality care; Maintains supervisory responsibility for staff, residents and program as assigned; Assists with coordination of shared housekeeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe working/living environment.
Requirements: Must have Associate degree in Human Services or related area and at least three years of supervisory experience and of work with adolescents in a residential setting.
Resident Life Coach (Full-time)
Supports the educational and treatment related initiatives of the Teen Mother Baby residents through interventions in the areas of daily living skills, parenting, self-sufficiency, behavioral/mental health and relationships. Primarily serves as a teacher, coach, mentor and role model for the residents and their children. Also, provides behavioral health intervention services to all residents; documents all treatment services in a timely and qualitative manner. Ensures the safety and security of all residents and their children.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. College course work (2 years) is highly desirable. Must have two years of experience working with adolescents in a residential setting.
Program Coordinator (Full-time)
Responsible for the daily operation and administration of the Hope House homeless program by coordinating and monitoring the residential programs and services offered to these residents.
Requirements: Must have an Associate degree in Human Services (Bachelors degree in Human Services or related area is preferred) and three years experience of supervisory skills and work with the homeless population.
Social Worker (Part-time)
Responsible for the well-being of our clients by providing direct clinical and case management services, including the coordination of available community resources. Monitors and collects data for use in quality improvement and reports to funders.
Requirements: Must have Bachelors degree in Social Work plus licensure in Maryland. Three years related work experience with the homeless population.
Resident Assistant (Part-time)
Provides supervision and monitoring of the residents and the facility for safety, security and adherence to policies and procedures for the program. Expected to interact with the residents in carrying out their individual service plans and record completed activities in their case notes.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years or more of college coursework is desirable. One or two years experience of working with the homeless population.
