Posted February 3, 2010
St. Ann’s Infant and Maternity Home has received a $2,208 grant on behalf of the ExxonMobil Employees’ Favorite Charities Campaign to support its general operations. “This grant will enable us to continue to provide the caliber of services to some of the Washington region’s most vulnerable populations during these difficult economic times,” said Sister Mary Bader, Chief Executive Officer of St. Ann’s Infant and Maternity Home. “Our goal is to promote healing and healthy development for those who come to us in crisis by offering a holistic approach through our residential care, medical and other support services.” “Once again our employees set a new giving record, despite these hard economic times,” said Patrick Dexter, Headquarters Community Relations Advisor for Exxon Mobil Corporation. “Our employees responded to calls for support of local health and human services organizations in the Greater Washington area; supporting organizations where we live and work is a basic principal of community relations at ExxonMobil. It’s important to all our employees that we be active community members.” ExxonMobil’s corporate contribution are distributed to local health and human services non-profit organizations based on employee designations.
