Child Care Teachers - Day Care (Full-time)
Provide total quality care for the children in the Day Care Program. Attend to the safety, development, nutrition, hygiene, socialization and emotional well being of each assigned child. Must demonstrate dedication, sensitivity and caring as well as be skilled and knowledgeable in working with young children.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent with 90-hour certification, 45 hour Infant Course & 90 hour Literacy course plus 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility. Must be at least 20 years of age.
Assistant Supervisor - Teen Mother/Baby Program (Full-time)
Provides support to the Program Supervisor, supervision to the evening staff and maintains responsibility for the program. Gives encouragement to teenage mothers through emotional/medical support. Coordinates the team effort for the provision of quality care and coordinates the housekeeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe working/living environment. Maintains supervisory responsibility for evening staff, residents and the Program, in the absence of the Supervisor.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years experience working with adolescents.
Grants Manager - Development Office (Part-time)
Identifies and researches corporations and foundations, including funding source proposal requirements and submittal deadlines. Writes, edits, and proofreads proposals and reports to corporate, foundation, and government funders. Tracks status of proposals and follows up to provide additional information as required by funding sources.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree, preferably in English or Journalism or equivalent experience.
Cook - Food Services Department (Part-time)
Incumbent will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of food for all meals and special occasions according to a menu. Will need to keep an accurate record of quantity of foods used in meal preparation; wash utensils, surfaces and equipment used in food preparation. Expected to keep all aspects of the kitchen and the dining room clean and in good order.
Requirements: At least (1) year of experience as a Cook and Current Food Handlers Certification.
Unit Clerk - Daycare Program (Full-time)
Incumbent will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the Day Care that are not assigned to a specific group. Responsible for ordering food and cleaning supplies for the Day Care program as delegated by the Director of Day Care. Act as substitute when delegated in the Day Care program.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Some training in food service and nutritional guidelines, child development and housekeeping procedures.
Painter - Maintenance Department (Part-time)
Incumbent applies paint, stain, varnish, enamels and lacquers on interior and exterior surfaces to protect and decorate surfaces. Installs and repairs wall coverings. Prepares surfaces for paint application with necessary tools. Uses stencil sets, cutting stencils to prepare signs and stripes in the parking lot. Refinishes both wood and steel furniture that may require staining, varnishing or painting.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Apprenticeship training from trade school that includes hands-on work. Four years as a journey level painter in a residential and/or facilities operations setting, both interior and exterior.
