1. In Her Own Words: Brittany's Story
"She was 19 with nothing to lose and a lot to learn. Forced to drop out of college and enter into motherhood. Little did she know that a man whose arms she would embrace. Would become the same hands she feared.
"A child was born with no map or guide. Minimal family support left her in a bind. With raised voices and a clenched fist. She braved the unknown and fought the urge to resist. The urge to settle in a love that hurt. It took years to then rebuild from the dirt. Time passed as she searched for more. To give her son what he deserved.
"That girl was me."

2. Highlights from Hope Blossoms 2025 - St. Ann's Center's Biggest Night of the Year!
"...Approx. 300 guests filled Columbia Country Club, a beautiful space enhanced with stunning floral arrangements donated by Sarah von Pollaro and Urban Petals.
The flowers symbolized the hope that animates St. Ann’s mission and empowers women like Brittany - former client and guest speaker who defined what hope at St. Ann’s meant to her: “Hope that there was more. Hope that we could make it. Hope that better was not only coming, it was HERE.”
3. Program Updates and Highlights
"Through your help, 22 women and their 29 children have a safe, nurturing place to call home this summer within St. Ann’s supportive and transitional housing programs."
