Clinical and Social Work Services

The St. Ann's team creates a comprehensive treatment plan for young mothers and encourages them as they grow. Licensed social workers meet with the mothers weekly to ensure that they are making progress. We also provide a range of clinical services such as assessments, individual, group and family therapy and crisis management and intervention. Our goal is to provide opportunities for young mothers to explore their interests, express themselves, grow and thrive.

UNPAID INTERNSHIP - CLINICAL AND SOCIAL WORK SERVICES

We believe interns are an integral part of our team as they bring a “fresh perspective”.  It is our mission to help adolescent and adult mothers and their families along their journey to independence.

In CSWS we provide trauma informed, strengths based, reflective functioning services to our families. As an intern, depending on your major or interest, you will be providing a range of clinical services to residents (one-on-one), co-facilitating groups and intakes and assessments, participating in Program Meeting and CSWS unit meetings and/or working on a number of macro-level projects using the approach listed above.

At St. Ann’s we are proud of our “Tradition of Caring” and extend the same to you. Our goal is to provide opportunities for meaningful “hands-on” experiences where you will integrate classroom knowledge with practice and develop clinical and social work skills. Please take a moment to complete the Internship application. After submission, someone in our Human Resources or CSWS department will contact you with next steps. Again, thank you for your interest in interning with CSWS.
