Prince George's Community College Team Donates 450 Pounds of Food
A team of student leaders from Prince George's Community College surprised the staff at St. Ann's Center by dropping off a large donation: 450 pounds of non-perishable food items as well as blankets and children's clothing!
The Team is part of the Enactus movement, a national community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to enable human progress. Enactus students apply business concepts to develop community outreach projects, transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.
We are very proud of these accomplished local students and grateful for their generosity. Our thanks to all of the members of the team and their advisor, Ruth Lewis.
Above, members Philippa Palmer and Angel Stewart present their team's donation to Sr. Mary Bader and other members of St. Ann's Center's staff.
