Hello, Sister Nancy Downing here with St. Ann's Center. As this new year unfolds, I want to take a moment and celebrate your impact in 2025. Women and children built pathways out of homelessness toward lasting independence with your help. The need in our region continues to grow. But thanks to you families who have lived through crisis found care, compassion, and community here at St. Ann's Center.

Sister Nancy Downing, CEO of St. Ann's Center, shares a Thanksgiving message, program highlights, and a special invitation to support St. Ann's Center's "Powering Hope" campaign.

Quite simply, you help St. Ann’s change young lives. Tonight, 51 women and children have a safe and sound place to call home – including the eight women and their six children who live in our Grace House Teen Mother-Baby Program. I am so thankful, and proud, of the work you empower. Thank you!

The families who come to St. Ann’s have faced real challenges in their young lives. These experiences can be overwhelming and isolating. Thankfully, you make St. Ann’s a place where – over time, with love and support – that sense of isolation can begin to dissipate, freeing women and their children to forge new relationships that add hopeful dimensions to their lives.

Today as we celebrate the mothers and mother figures in our lives, I want to especially thank you for helping St. Ann’s Center celebrate the moms participating in our supportive and transitional housing programs.
